Guest Forms & Invitations
Recently the CFO has ammended the terms of the Authorisation to Transport (ATT) to require that anyone who is not a member of the club they are intending to visit must have an invitation to visit that club. Our club is open to visitors and our members are encouraged to invite responsible firearms owners to our ranges. As such we have created an invitation that makes official the invitation of our member to come and shoot as a guest of said member. That is to say that if you have been invited to our range by one of our member, then you are allowed to print and fill out the invitation provided at the link below.

Please note that this invitation is only valid if the member that invited you is present with you at the range. You are also obligated to follow the rules govenring the use of our facilities.
We strongly urge our members and potential guest to contact your Federal Member of Parliament and tell them:
- a) ATTs are specifically designed to harass sport shooters and do nothing to keep Canadians safe
- b) Every ATT application to the CFO to move restricted and prohibited firearms is granted with a rubber-stamp – it is an expensive, useless exercise
- c) ATTs provide CFOs with another avenue to make up more stringent and unfair rules on their own
- d) Criminals do not seek permission to transport firearms, so the ATT does not prevent crime.
RSO Course - UPDATED

We have 3 more RSO courses planned for this winter, we are urging all members to complete the course as it allows greater flexibility for range usage with out needing to coordinate with another RSO.
Sunday Feb. 5 from 3 - 5 PM
Monday Feb. 6 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Sunday March 12 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Renewals Time

On behalf of the Executives and Directors of Bridgeport Rod and Gun, I would like to thank you for being a member of the Bridgeport Rod and Gun club.
2016 has been a very busy year for us and we have had some challenges but I'm very happy as I look back on 2016 because we overcame some significant hurdles and have made the club a better and safer place for everyone.
As we look towards 2017, I'm excited for all the possibilities that the new year holds and am personally looking forward to getting out to the range and enjoying this great sport of ours.
Below is a link to the renewal form. Please download it before filling it in, and be sure to save before printing. Then sign it, include the required fee, and either mail it in or drop it off at the club.
Please remember that renewals are due before the membership meeting on the 7th of February 2017. Any membership not renewed by that time would be subject to a $100 late fee.

We're OPEN!!!

I'm super pleased to let everyone know that we passed the range inspection, so all ranges are once again open. Please note that an RSO must still be present when the range is in use. We are encouraging any member who wishes, to take the RSO course.
